 Speaker Bio:

Dr. Ramadevi is a General Manager at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, India, a premier steel producer with an annual capacity of 7.3 million tons and a turnover of CAD 300 million. With over 35 years of experience in the steel industry, she plays a pivotal role in leading key departments, including Raw Materials, Production Planning and Monitoring, Cost and Total Quality Management. Her expertise spans strategic planning, operational monitoring, emergency preparedness, ISO systems implementation, cost optimization, and raw material sourcing.

Dr. Ramadevi earned a Gold Medal for her PhD thesis on material requirement planning solutions in Industrial Engineering from Andhra University, India. She has received numerous prestigious accolades for her exceptional contributions, such as the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for outstanding performance, the Wings of Steel Award by the Indian Steel Conclave, the Woman of Excellence Award by the Institute of Public Enterprise, and the Golden Award by the International Convention. Dr. Ramadevi has authored and presented several research papers in national and international journals and conferences in industrial engineering and steel production.
