Think of your journal selection as finding the right community in which to start a conversation about your research. In this session you will learn how to evaluate journals for scope, access, and impact to identify the most appropriate venue to share your scholarship. Open to faculty and graduate students. Predatory publishing - February 5, noon - 1 p.m.

Publishing in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals remains a prime goal for academics because it is tied to promotion, tenure, and is important for your evaluation. In this session you'll learn about the characteristics of predatory publishers and how to spot predatory journals. Open to faculty and graduate students. Register for workshop.
