Territory Acknowledgement from Songhees Elder Frank Bangus George

Legacy is grateful to be able to share this opening prayer and territory acknowledgement given by Songhees Elder Frank George for our current exhibition To Fish As Formerly.

In lieu of the event we would have had to commemorate the opening of this exhibition, Elder Frank George kindly worked with Legacy staff to film this video which acknowledges this territory and the community work that has gone into the resurgence of the Reef Net Fishery.
