What is International Education Week?

Every November, countries around the world celebrate International Education Week (IEW), an opportunity to promote the benefits of international education and mobility.

"IEW will showcase the impact that international education has in preparing Canadians for the world and supports Canada's efforts to engage effectively on the international stage. It is a reflection of the spirit of cooperation and collaboration among various stakeholders across Canada to join forces to highlight the importance of international education."

Canadian Bureau for International Education

With our International Plan and a community of students, faculty and staff travelling around the world, UVic is dedicated to being a leader in international education.

Follow along on UVic's Instagram all week as we share student stories and highlight events and resources on campus!

We will also be adding stories and resources to this page thoughout the week.
