Are you an international student wondering if you should file Canadian income tax returns?

Richard Games, UVic Alumnus and Chartered Accountant, will provide an overview of the Canadian income tax system and tips for filing income tax returns as an international student.

Student advisers from International Student Services and the School of Business International Programs Office will also be available to answer questions about tax slips issued by UVic.

Topics will include:

  • How to determine your residency status and tax obligations
  • Required documents for filing income tax returns
  • Tools and resources for filing income tax returns
  • Frequently asked questions
