This database contains three main authority files: Work of Art Records, Subject Records (the classification terms used to index the works of art) and the Bibliographic Records (citations which support the above two files). These three files may be used independently or else in combination. As of June 2005 the database contains:

The Centre for Studies in Religion and Society

The Centre for Studies in Religion and Society (CSRS) was established at the University of Victoria in 1991 to foster the scholarly study of religion in relation to any and all aspects of society and culture, both contemporary and historical. Its primary aim is to promote dialogue between religion and other aspects of human experience, especially concerning questions of human values, knowledge and technology.

Founded in October 2007 in conjunction with the Social Science Research Council’s program on Religion and the Public SphereThe Immanent Frame features invited contributions and original essays, and serves as a forum for ongoing exchanges among leading thinkers from the social sciences and humanities.
