Our program introduces you to major world religions, spirituality, and contemporary religious issues, providing ways for seeking to understand religion and the pivotal role that it plays in many of today’s key societal questions.

We offer major, general and minor programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts. You can also combine our major with a major in another department, or with a major in another faculty.

Not a major but interested in taking a religious studies course? Our courses complement any program—they provide cultural context and perspectives that can be powerful tools for critical analysis and inquiry.
