During the Victorian Era, the Middle Ages inspired artists, architects, poets and politicians. It was also a visual language through which conceptions of identity were expressed and exported throughout the British Empire. Join me for an informal walking-tour of Ross Bay Cemetery, Christ Church Cathedral and the Church of Our Lord as we consider this medieval "resonance" in our city's past.
