Megan Swift is an Associate Professor of Russian Studies who specializes in the culture of Lenin and Stalin’s Russia. Her current book project looks at Russian cultural policy as expressed and resisted in children’s book illustrations 1917-53. A new focus of her teaching and research is Putin’s Russia and the reshaping of the Soviet past in post-communist Russia.
