Delivery mode	Offered fully online and asynchronous (may offer optional synchronous sessions throughout the term).
Hourly rate	$34.72 + 4% vacation pay

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have community-engaged quantitative and/or qualitative research training and experience, and excellent time management and communication skills. Previous teaching experience would be an asset. A basic knowledge of instructional technology and web-based learning environments is required. For graduate level courses, candidates must hold a PhD or, must be completing their PhD candidacy to grade assignments; graduate students may not evaluate the work of other graduate students.

Summary of duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may include the following:

Attend orientation/training sessions
Meetings & communication with faculty member instructor/supervisor
Review course materials
Contribute to developing and/or selecting course content
Document student participation
Moderate discussion boards and engage with student discussions
Grade assignments

TAs are required to communicate in a timely, professional, and effective manner with students, the professor, and administration.
