Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience / understanding of evidence-informed public health interventions employed in public health practice and have excellent time management and communication skills. For graduate level courses, candidates must hold a PhD or must be completing their PhD candidacy to grade assignments; graduate students may not evaluate the work of other graduate students.

Summary of duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the teaching assistant will include moderating discussion boards and engaging with student discussions, a willingness to contribute to development of course content, and grading written assignments. TAs are required to communicate in a timely, professional, and effective manner with students, the instructor, and administration.
