Sarka Polivkova

From setting up interviews to following up on the status of job postings, Sarka works closely with employers, students, and coordinators to facilitate the placement process.

Before coming to UVic, Sarka worked as a Program Coordinator for Mad Science Vancouver Island. She has many years of experience in administrative finance and customer service, both in Canada and the Czech Republic. She completed her Diploma in Business Administration/ Management at Camosun College, and she also has a Bachelor's degree in Regional Development & Administration from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. She is passionate about improving the overall student and employer experience.
