A Decade of Critical Conversations: Re-imagining Identities, Power and Privilege

Since 2007, the UVic' Provost's Diversity Research Forum has been promoting critical conversations about diversity and social justice topics and community-engaged university scholarship.

The conference is free, and open to students, staff, faculty and community members. Please join us as a participant or a volunteer. You are welcome to register for one session or every session.

Everyone is welcome and the forum is accessible to people of all abilities.

  • All presentation rooms are wheelchair-accessible.
  • Sign language interpretation will be provided at some sessions.

If you have any accommodation requests, please contact Grace Wong Sneddon by Jan. 16, 2017 at 250-721-6143 or to discuss your specific needs.

Most conference sessions will be videotaped for educational purposes and some may be streamed live over the Internet. If you have any concerns please contact us in advance at or speak to the room volunteer before the session begins.
