Mandatory co-op programs
Students in the following programs are automatically enrolled in co-op as part of their degree.
- Business Co-op (for students enrolled in Commerce, the Master of Business Administration or the Master of Global Business)
- Engineering and Computer Science Co-op (for students enrolled in Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineering)
- Health Information Science
- Public Administration (for students enrolled in the Master of Public Adminstration)
- Recreation and Health Education
- Coaching Studies
Optional co-op programs
Co-op is optional for students in the following programs:

- Earth and Ocean Sciences
