CUPE 917 bargaining

Approximately 970 staff (470 FTE), including in trades, the athletics department, grounds workers, security officers, facility attendants, as well as janitorial, maintenance and food service workers, among others, are represented in collective bargaining by CUPE 917.

The current collective agreement with CUPE 917 expired on March 31, 2025; however, the terms and conditions continue in force until the parties renegotiate the agreement in accordance with the provincial 2025 Balanced Measures Mandate.
