CUPE 4163 (Component 3) bargaining

CUPE 4163 (Component 3) represents approximately 750 sessional instructors and music performance instructors over the course of an academic year.

The current collective agreement with CUPE 4163 (Component 3) expired on April 30, 2025; however, the terms and conditions continue in force until the parties renegotiate the agreement in accordance with the provincial 2025 Balanced Measures Mandate.

The parties began collective bargaining under the 2025 Balance Measures collective bargaining mandate on November 25, 2025.  The most recent bargaining date was February 26, and the parties have dates booked in March to continue discussions.
