CUPE 4163 (Component 3) bargaining

CUPE 4163 (Component 3) represents approximately 750 sessional instructors and music-performance instructors over the course of an academic year.

The current collective agreement with CUPE 4163 (Component 3) expired on April 30, 2025; however, the terms and conditions continue in force until the parties renegotiate the agreement in accordance with the provincial 2025 Balanced Measures Mandate.

The parties began collective bargaining under the 2025 Balance Measures collective bargaining mandate on November 25, 2025. The parties will meet again on January 29-30, 2026 and have scheduled February 9, 10, 17 and 26 to continue discussions.
