Michael Stubbing

Michael Stubbing, FCPA, FCA, CFP, TEP is the Vancouver Island Managing Partner of Doane Grant Thornton LLP.  Mike has lived in Victoria with his wife Natalie for just over 20 years, where they have raised two children.

Stubbing’s background is in tax, succession, and estate planning, advising privately held businesses and their owners on growth, transition, and long-term strategic planning.  In his leadership role he oversees his firm’s Vancouver Island operations and works closely with clients, community organizations, and business leaders across the region.  Throughout his career, Stubbing has written and instructed tax courses and papers for a number of different organizations.  He has also served on the boards and committees of a variety of community, professional, and educational organizations.
