Transgender archives
If you have collections that you have been safeguarding for the future please consider placing them in the Transgender Archives where they will be cherished.

We are now at a crucial time in the history of trans activism and research.

Many of the people who initiated the wave of self-conscious trans activism that began in the 1960s are thinking about how to leave a record of what they have done. Many individuals who had the foresight to begin personal archival collections in previous decades are reaching points in their lives when they are considering their legacies to future generations.

Sadly, some valuable records have been lost, either because their owners were no longer able to care for them, or because their owners did not know to whom it would be safe to donate these rare and unique materials.

The Transgender Archives exist as a safe, secure, respectful, and stable institution devoted to preserving the records of trans activism and research.

If you have collections that you have been safeguarding for the future please consider placing them in the Transgender Archives where they will be cherished and used by researchers to tell the history of the brave people who have made trans activism and research strong.
