Akgozel Karyyeva

As a Graduate Secretary at IGOV, she supports graduate students throughout their academic journey by helping them navigate program requirements, policies, and university processes.

Originally from Turkmenistan, Akgozel Karyyeva holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, which has shaped her interest in human behavior and effective communication. 

Akgozel is passionate about fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments and contributes to the vibrant academic community at the University of Victoria through collaboration on innovative educational initiatives.

Outside of work, she enjoys cultural exchange and exploring new ideas that deepen her appreciation for diverse perspectives.
