2018 Building Reconciliation Forum: Working Together to Advance Reconciliation

Thanks to all of you who took part in the Building Reconciliation Forum, hosted at the University of Victoria in November 2018.

The theme was Ts’its’u’ watul tseep, meaning to help one another. This is a lesson that universities must take to heart in order to answer the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.

The teachings of Coast Salish First Nations guide us to “work together in a good way” and “to be prepared for all work to come” so that universities across Canada make a difference in the lives of Indigenous students and their communities.

The 2019 Building Reconciliation Forum will take place at Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from October 8th-10th. For more information visit:
