Statistics student Jahid wins fellowship in marine sciences

Congratulations to our PhD student in Statistics, Mehnaz Jahid on winning the Dr. Arne H. Lane Graduate Fellowships in Marine Sciences. This is a first for the department as winners in the past have been mostly from Earth and Ocean Sciences or Biology.
