Flora Bowditch and Mackenzie Wheeler win prizes at Honours Fest

The Faculty of Science hosted its annual Honours Fest on February 24. The format was a poster session, which provided honours students an opportunity to gain experience presenting their research in a conference style setting to a broad group of students and faculty in the Faculty of Science.

A panel of faculty adjudicated the posters and Math & Stats students Flora Bowditch (The Eternal Graph Colouring Game) won 3rd prize overall while Mackenzie Wheeler (Cops and Robbers on Infinite Graphs) won the top prize within the department. Both students are supervised by Gary MacGillivray. Congratulations to Flora and Mackenzie!
