Statistics on Reels: Lucy Gao one of five finalists
Lucy Gao was recently chosen to be a finalist in 'Statistics on Reels', a project aimed at promoting statistics through online videos. Lucy's video is available on YouTube:
There were five finalists: three undergraduates and two graduates, all of whom were awarded a $250 prize and invited to give a presentation at the Second Annual Statistical Society of Canada Student Conference, May 24, 2014, at the University of Toronto. Lucy's video was based on work done during an NSERC Summer USRA last year, supervised by Julie Zhou.
