The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Victoria Travel Award*
An award is given to a student who has completed at least 4 courses on China and/or overseas Chinese studies and who is undertaking a study of Chinatowns outside the City of Victoria. The general University requirement that the award recipient must return to the University of Victoria in the next regular session and enroll in a full program does not apply to this travel award. Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Department of Pacific and Asian Studies.

Eligibility
In-Course scholarships, awards, medals and prizes are offered to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 12.0 units for credit, of which 10.5 units are graded using the standard nine point scale, in two of the three terms of study in the previous academic year (May to April). In-course scholarships, awards and prizes are awarded in the subsequent winter session (September to April).
How to accept
To accept your scholarship offer:
- Have a NetLink ID
- Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
- Select "Student Services" on the top menu
- Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
- Select "View My Student Aid"
- Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
- Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
