Salish Weave Visual Arts Award
One award of at least $5,000 is given to a First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit entering or continuing undergraduate student in the Department of Visual Arts. Preference will be given to a student who is from Coast Salish First Nations.
Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Department of Visual Arts.
Applicants, candidates or nominees for this award who have indicated they are First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit are required to demonstrate their eligibility for Indigenous-specific awards in alignment with the Indigenous Citizenship Declaration (ICD) Policy (GV0810).

To accept your scholarship offer:
- Have a NetLink ID
- Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
- Select "Student Services" on the top menu
- Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
- Select "View My Student Aid"
- Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
- Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
