Micqualyn Scholarship

A scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to an academically outstanding undergraduate student entering or continuing in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education who has demonstrated community volunteer involvement. In addition to the application, students must submit a letter in which they describe their contributions to such volunteer organizations. Students must complete the on-line application and submit their letter to Student Awards and Financial Aid by the required application deadline.

Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education.

How to accept

To accept your scholarship offer:

  1. Have a NetLink ID
  2. Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
  3. Select "Student Services" on the top menu
  4. Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
  5. Select "View My Student Aid"
  6. Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
  7. Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
