Herbert and Eva Schaefer String Scholarship*

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students of violin, viola, cello or double bass, entering or continuing in the Music program at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

Approval will be made by either the Senate Committee on Awards or the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the School of Music.

How to accept

To accept your scholarship offer:

  1. Have a NetLink ID
  2. Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
  3. Select "Student Services" on the top menu
  4. Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
  5. Select "View My Student Aid"
  6. Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
  7. Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
