Bate Family Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Award*

One or more awards are given to undergraduate students entering the University of Victoria directly from a secondary school in the Greater Victoria region and who compete on a Vikes Varsity team. Eligible students must meet all U SPORTS and/or NAIA eligibility requirements. Award recipients will be selected on the basis of work ethic, commitment and performance criteria by the Senior Director of Athletics and Recreation in consultation with the Director, Varsity Performance Sport. Applications, including a letter outlining career and athletic goals and objectives and the reasons and benefits of attending UVic, must be submitted to the Senior Director of Athletics and Recreation by October 31.

How to accept

To accept your scholarship offer:

  1. Have a NetLink ID
  2. Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
  3. Select "Student Services" on the top menu
  4. Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
  5. Select "View My Student Aid"
  6. Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
  7. Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
