Afghan Women in Engineering and Computer Science Entrance Scholarship

One or more entrance scholarships of at least $2,500 is awarded to academically outstanding women students entering the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. Preference will be given to students who are from Afghanistan. Afghan students who have been out of secondary school for more than two years are eligible to be considered for this scholarship. Approval of the recipient is made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.

How to accept

To accept your scholarship offer:

  1. Have a NetLink ID
  2. Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
  3. Select "Student Services" on the top menu
  4. Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
  5. Select "View My Student Aid"
  6. Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
  7. Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
