Mariel Miller is a second-generation Canadian, born in Treaty 6 territory and raised as a settler on unceded Algonquin, Anishinabek territory. She is privileged to work and play on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples. Dr. Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies at the University of Victoria and Associate Director of the Technology Integration and Evaluation Research Lab. Her research sits at the intersection of educational psychology and educational technology, with a focus on self-regulated and socially shared regulation of learning in technology-mediated contexts.
