Gabrielle Demuren
Gabrielle Demuren is a student from Maryland, USA, currently interning at the Centre for Global Studies for Summer 2026. She is entering her third year at Harvard University, where she studies Government and Sociology. Gabrielle is interested in pursuing a career in diplomacy and politics, with a focus on both local and international affairs. Her academic interests include housing policy, women’s and Black rights, local government efficacy, and urban development. She is deeply committed to service and youth empowerment, and brings experience in leading initiatives, event planning, content creation, and community engagement. She is eager to further develop her research skills while supporting the Centre’s administrative work. She is excited to be at UVic, explore Victoria, and contribute to the Centre’s impactful work this summer.
