Claudia Diaz-Diaz (she/her) is an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University’s Faculty of Education, Canada. Her current SSHRC-funded research project is titled Pedagogies for Climate and Gender Justice. This community-based research has been developed in collaboration with Sur Territoria, an ecofeminist organization of water and land protectors in Southern Chile. The project centers the knowledge, lived experiences, and educational practices of women climate activists, using feminist and decolonial approaches to research and pedagogical practice.
