UVic Radiation Safety Officer. Responsible for ionizing radiation, x-ray equipment and chemical safety. First point of contact for projects, training and regulatory requirements of CNSC; and general research safety support for the School of Earth & Ocean Sciences and department of Physics & Astronomy.
Paraskevi Lagaditis, OHSE Consultant
UVic Laser Safety Officer. Responsible for laboratory and laser safety programs. First point of contact for projects, training and regulatory requirements for Class 3B and 4 lasers, WHMIS and fume hoods; and general research safety support for the departments of Chemistry and Biology.
Amanda Muench, OHSE Consultant
Responsible for environmental programs including hazardous waste management, pollution prevention and laboratory sustainability. First point of contact for projects, training and regulatory requirements related to boating safety and related field research activities; and general research safety support for the faculty of Engineering.
