Campus events
Each year many events take place on campus outside of the classroom. These events often utilize movies, music and public lectures that may involve copyright issues unique to each of these mediums.
If you are showing videos or playing music for a purpose outside of education (e.g. for entertainment or marketing, a public concert, in a dining establishment or exercise class, etc.) you DO need permission. We do not have any campus-wide licenses to cover these uses.
