Hello! My name is Natalie. I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of English here at UVic and occasional instructor for our Academic and Technical Writing Program. I am a “Canadianist” (which means I specialize in Canadian literature) with a special interest in speculative and science fiction. In my spare time, I fiddle with grammar apps and think about rhetoric. I love talking with, helping, and learning vicariously through students. More specifically, I love to strategize ways to communicate artfully across genres. Here at the CAC, I help students plan, outline, draft, and revise assignments ranging from summaries, to research papers, to oral presentations.
