Exchange students

Due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 outbreak, the University of Victoria is reviewing exchange programs for upcoming terms. At this time, we are hopeful to continue with Fall 2021 exchange programs, however, UVic is still reassessing inbound and outbound student travel. Consequently, the ISS Exchange team will defer application processing until this time.

As an exchange student, you'll take courses at UVic that will count as credit toward your program of study at your home institution. It's a great way to see the world while continuing to make progress in your studies.

At UVic, International Student Services (ISS) operates an exchange program for the Faculties of Humanities, Science and Social Sciences, while the School of Business and Faculty of Law operate separate exchange programs.

Applying to UVic

To study at UVic through the ISS Student Exchange Program, you must be enrolled at one of our partner institutions.

If your university is not a partner institution, you may be able to apply to UVic as a study abroad student.
