Monika Cwiartka has been teaching at the University of Victoria since 2010. She has taught a variety of academic, technical, and biomedical communications courses in English, Engineering, and Nursing. She holds a degree in Biology from McMaster University, where she specialized in immunology and worked for several years as a laboratory research assistant. In her Masters and Doctoral work in English, she focused on the rhetoric of science. Currently, she splits her time between UVic and Camosun College.
