The University of Victoria Collaborative for Evidence Informed Healthcare: A JBI Centre of Excellence

The University of Victoria Collaborative for Evidence Informed Healthcare: A JBI Centre of Excellence, in the School of Nursing (CEiHC), is a group of researchers, clinicians, librarians and students engaged in systematic reviews and other types of evidence synthesis using the JBI model of evidence based health care. Our aim is to improve nursing practice and education.

JBI is a global organisation promoting and supporting evidence-based decisions that improve health and health service delivery. CEiHC has been a JBI Affiliated Group since 2016 and achieved formal JBI Centre of Excellence status in 2021. CEiHC has partnerships with Island Health, the SPOR Evidence Alliance and several nursing education institutions in western Canada.
