Launch of New Blog Site: International Journal of Child, Youth & Family Studies Review

Dear Colleagues,

We have recently created a new blog space that we’re very excited about and we hope you’ll take the time to check it out. The IJCYFS Review has been designed to offer an experimental space for lively, critical and topical conversations related to the fields of childhood, youth, and family studies. We especially encourage submissions that extend upon, or offer generative critiques of, articles published in the open access International Journal of Child Youth and Family Studies.

We are inviting academics, practitioners and students to submit posts and responses with a critical and creative edge, and/or that incorporate multimedia and non-text content. Through the creation of a non-blind, unique approach to peer review, the IJCYFS Review is committed to offering authors close mentorship from peer editors who will start from the premise that authors have something worth saying and will work with authors to bring their work to life.

We hope you’ll consider contributing something to our blog and we encourage you to share this announcement with other colleagues, students, researchers, and practitioners who you think might be interested in participating in this exciting online dialogue.

Thank you for all of your support of the International Journal of Child, Youth & Family Studies to date and we look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Veronica and Jennifer
