Entrepreneurship Minor program structure

Required courses

Note: This information applies to students completing the Entrepreneurship Minor in 2027 or earlier. If you are interested in completing an Entrepreneurship Minor in 2028 or later, please speak with your adviser.

The Business Minor in Entrepreneurship program consists of 12.0 units of course work. This includes passing grades in the following 3 fundamental courses:

In addition to getting an Entrepreneurship Minor, you may choose to do a Business Minor by completing 2 accounting courses on the required courses list.

Request for registration process

If you are interested in getting a business minor in entrepreneurship, please follow these steps:

  1. After completing COM 220, COM 240 and COM 250, and declaring the minor to their home faculty, students must contact the Gustavson undergrad program office.
  2. Complete a request for registration form.
The entrepreneurship specialization is only offered once a year, currently in the summer term. Request for registration form submissions are accepted by Gustavson from April 1-15.
