Our community partners play a key role in our educational experience.
They bring real-world insight, create learning opportunities and help students build connections. In return, partners gain fresh ideas, energy and new perspectives from our students.
Hire a student
Support our students to learn in the workplace, and get the benefit of their passion, knowledge and business skills. Every Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) student completes work experience terms. Many business master's students do as well. Businesses can hire a student full-time for an academic term through our co-op program.

Networking
Meet with students one-on-one or at events:
- share your experiences in a coffee chat (informational interview)
- become an ongoing member of a student’s Gustavson network (aka their personal board of advisors)
- attend formal and informal school events which take place throughout the school year
Classroom-connected learning
Contribute to learning that connects to students’ coursework:
- be a guest speaker in a class or at a school event
- join a panel discussion
- judge an internal case or pitch competition
- volunteer a real-world project for students to apply their classroom learning to
- offer a workshop for students outside their regular coursework
Mentorship program
Share your professional experience and insights with our students as they plan their career:
- commit to a formal 6-month mentorship relationship with a student from any of our programs
- specify your preferred mentee experience level

Consult our MBA students
Have a business problem and think it would make a good consulting project for our MBAs? Our MBA in Sustainable Innovation students work in teams to address real business problems as part of their final-term coursework.
