Canada is an amazing country in which to live and learn. Your Canadian degree will be a perfect start for whatever career you want to pursue—wherever in the world you want to take it (including right here in Canada, if you choose). Our high quality, public and affordable education system offers practical life skills you won’t find outside our borders. Recognized worldwide, a University of Victoria degree will open doors to wherever you want to go.

2+2 structure

In the first two years, students complete pre-commerce courses (a mix of required courses and electives). In year three and year four, students complete their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) courses.

Dual Degree students apply for entry directly into year three of the BCom program, after successfully completing a minimum of two years at their home institution. Upon completion of the BCom program, students will graduate with two degrees, a BCom degree from the Gustavson School of Business and a degree from their home institution.

Cohorts

In BCom Core (Year 3), you will be part of a cohort of 60 students each semester, and will also be part of a project team with whom you will complete all group work during a given semester.
