We offer a competitive tuition rate along with numerous scholarships and awards. In addition to the scholarships provided specifically for MBA students, UVic graduate students may be eligible for further financial assistance: visit UVic's Awards and Financial Aid for more information.

Please note: Daytime MBA tuition and program fees are payable in four equal installments. Weekend MBA tuition and program fees are payable in six equal installments. Students accepting an offer of admission will be required to submit a non-refundable tuition $2,000 deposit in Canadian currency. The tuition fee, MBA program fee and co-op work term fee are subject to an annual increase on May 1. All other fees are subject to change without notice.

Ritchie Foundation MBA Entrance Scholarship
Awarded based on the student's entrance application strength.

Margaret Lowe Memorial Scholarship
One or more awards, funded by the University Women's Club of Victoria, will be made annually to a woman student entering the Master of Business Administration Program. Approval will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Gustavson School of Business.

Ritchie Foundation MBA Scholarships
We award one or more scholarships to outstanding graduate students in the MBA program in the Faculty of Business. Approval of the recipient will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Business.

MBA Pay-it-Forward Award
Recognizes students who facilitate and promote a welcoming and positive learning environment for all MBA students.

  • Qualification: Students must be in their final year of the MBA program
  • Application: Nominations are submitted by MBA program faculty, staff, and students
  • Value: $1,200
  • Number: 2 (1 for Day students and 1 for Weekend students).

Jane Zhu MBA Cross-Cultural Integration Award
Recognizes students who encourage and promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

  • Qualification: Students must be in their final year of the MBA program
  • Application: Nominations are submitted by MBA program faculty, staff, and students
  • Value: $1,000
  • Number: 2 (1 for International students and 1 for Canadian students)

James A. Mossey Award
Recognizes one student who consistently and positively contributes to the lives of others.

  • Application: Nominations are submitted by MBA program faculty, staff, and students

MBA Leadership / Citizenship Award
Awarded to students based on their leadership, vision, academic and extra-curricular contributions, and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Number: 5 maximum (4 for Day students and 1 for Weekend students)

Bill Buckwold/Jennifer Richardson Award
Given to a graduating MBA student who has demonstrated a substantial improvement and who has overcome a significant challenge to achieve their educational goal.

Martlet Chapter IODE Scholarship in Business
Awarded to a female student with the highest standing in the second year of a Master's program. The Martlet Chapter of the IODE established this scholarship.

Dr. Ian Stuart MBA Scholarship in Sustainable Innovation
Awarded to academically outstanding students in the MBA program who have a degree in Engineering or Applied Math and have an interest in sustainable operations management. We give preference to students who demonstrate financial need with an additional preference for students who are Canadian citizens. Approval of the recipient(s) will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Gustavson School of Business.

  • Value: At least $1,350 each
  • Application: Submit applications by March 31 to the Dean’s Office of the Gustavson School of Business
