Jake Ganzeveld

Jake has worked for the Dean’s Office since July 2012 as Faculty Support and Assistant to various Associate Deans. He has retained his sense of humour while performing exciting administrative tasks such as covering central reception for the school, scheduling and supporting events, space planning and communicating with Facilities, preparing expense claims for faculty, coordinating faculty searches, new hire orientation, taking minutes for multiple committees, and co-chairing the BEC/DSB Joint Local Safety Committee and Gustavson Culture Committee. He also is a human encyclopedia for many random UVic/Gustavson inquiries.

In his off-time, Jake enjoys bike rides, long walks on the beach, short hikes, watching way too much TV, and going out to eat and drink with friends.
