Sydney J. is an award-winning queer independent filmmaker from the Lekwungen territory whose work explores addiction, identity & sexuality, and anti-capitalism. Sydney completed her BA and MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Victoria where she has continued working in a teaching capacity while honing her craft as a writer, director, and producer.
