Sparrow (he/him) is a multi-genre writer of fiction, nonfiction, and screenplays. He completed his MFA in creative writing at the University of British Columbia in 2025, where his work bent toward experimental forms and the literary weird. Grounded in an intersectional feminist lens, his writing explores transformation at the crossroads of queerness, trauma, and the body.

He is currently working on a late-coming-of-age novella set in 1995 Vancouver, following a trans man who begins to understand himself over a series of late-night phone calls to a stranger on the other end of a 1-900 line. The project explores the messier edges of self-knowing, gender, and sexuality, while paying homage to the gender rebels who navigated this space before the language for them fully existed.
