Eliza Blue Musselwhite (they/she) is a genderqueer settler, born in Treaty 1 Territory, who currently resides on the unceded land of the Lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples. Eliza is a multi-genre writer who strives to create works with humour and heart that engage with the grey areas of life. They hold a BFA in Writing from the University of Victoria, with a minor in Applied Ethics.
In 2025, they were awarded an undergraduate research award (JCURA) by UVic’s Department of Philosophy for their project “The Feminist Ethics of Remembering”, which explores the ethical value of memoir writing and the relational nature of memory. Their non-fiction essays have been published in This Side of West and Island Writer Magazine, and their theatrical work has been presented at both the Toronto and Victoria Fringe Festivals.
