ABSTRACT
Infinity is a powerful and intuitive real-time audio development platform. An extensive set of modules - there are over 370 of them - provide the building blocks used to create virtual devices of great sophistication. Synthesizers, samplers, digital audio effects, MIDI effects, and multimedia presentations can be created with Infinity without a single line of conventional programming.
The musical potential of this software environment extends beyond the Infinity application: Any devices created with Infinity may be run as plugin applets for all Windows audio applications such as Steinberg's Cubase and Cakewalk's Sonar.
The Object library, device library and paradigms of this intuitive software will be explained, and some examples will be explored.
