Joining a Server in MineCraftEdu

1. Open the MineCraftEdu Launcher.

2. Select the Start MineCraftEdu button.

3. Under Login Mode, select MineCraftEdu, then select Launch.

4. After picking a name and gender, select Multiplayer.

5. To join a local server, select Direct Connect.

6. The server is currently hosted on 142.104.185.149. Type this and then select Join Server. If you wish to join a different server, you will need to obtain its IP address. For more information on running a server, see our tutorial on creating a server in MineCraftEdu.

7. Students can change their appearance before connecting.

8. Logging in as a teacher requires the teacher password, which the host set before launching the server.

9. Once you have connected, you’re ready to learn. Have fun!
