About the Bachelor of Arts Major in Recreation and Health Education Co-operative Education Program

This interdisciplinary degree is an excellent foundation to work in the public and not for profit sectors as it prepares graduates with a foundation that supports personal and social change. Course work focuses on planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising recreation, leisure, fitness, wellness and health promotion programs, services and policies. Your learning is enhanced through involvement in cooperative education experiences. The Co-op combines academic study on campus with alternating periods of work in a variety of exercise and/or fitness-related settings.
